The Mayor of Charnwood, Coun Paul Day with GreenPad Enterprise
GreenPad was invited to the Charnwood Community Heroes Day 2014 and delivered a six hour sustainability consultation session with Charnwood community members. Community members included youths, students, working and retired professionals and organisations within Charnwood. The consultation cuts across environmental development issues such as climate change, renewable energy, carbon emissions, waste and energy management.
Outcome: All participants in the preliminary consultation session became more enthusiastic about green issues and gained knowledge and ideas about dealing with sustainability issues. This project is currently long-listed for the 2degrees champions award in the social value category. Please support the project by voting for us in the 2015 2degrees champions award.
